16 year old
Katniss Everdeen wants to run away. Run away from the capitol, away from
District 12, but mostly away from the reaping. Girls and boys ages 12-18 have
their names put into a drawing and whoever gets drawn has to fight to the death
in The Hunger Games. It was a mistake of a drawing, she wasn’t supposed to be.
“I volunteer as tribute” and Katniss is led to the stage.
I really
liked the book. If you like Action and adventure you should definitely read
this book. It was fascinating and one of twenty books I actually finished in my
life ;) I don’t read like AT ALL. But, this book really never made me bored.
Always will keep you reading. Guaranteed. I rated it 5 out of 5 stars!
