It's starts out with two young men named Chip and Greg they were in the Navy for the Union army. They were on a search for the ship called The Dart and this story takes place during the civil war. One day while they were on The Dart they found a torpedo that they took apart to see how it's was made when it blew up. Chip and Greg live through the blast, but got lost in the swamps after . They end up in Vicksburg finding the rebels. Chip and Greg get a chance to help the union by killing a strong gunmen and swam back to the Dart but get lost again and are trapped on an island with the rebels. Will Chip and Greg ever get off the island alive. Read this great adventure to find out about "The Mosquito Fleet". I think this book was great because it had an interesting plot and how it's a side story during the civil war. It made it realistic, like I knew them.
