The three Baudelaire children Klaus, Violet and Sunny have been sent to live with Count Olaf a long lost relative who has eyes all throughout his filthy house after their parents died in a terrible fire. But, Count Olaf has turned out to be a terrible man who has horrible friends and a scheme to somehow get a hold of Mr. and Mrs. Baudelaire's large fortune which involves marriage, cages and many chores. No one will help them, not even listen, so now it's up to the three Baudelaire orphans to save their parents large fortune from ending up in the wrong hands.
